Message from President

It gives me immense pleasure to extend my warmest greetings to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and well-wishers of Gangadharpur Mahavidyamandir. As President of the Governing Body, I take great pride in being associated with an institution that has, since its inception in 1981, remained committed to the cause of inclusive and quality higher education in the rural heartland of Howrah.

Over the years, our college has grown not just in numbers but also in vision and purpose. The introduction of four-year Honours with Research programs and multidisciplinary courses in the banner of CCF-2022, reflects our alignment with the evolving needs of higher education and the aspirations of our students. With a dedicated faculty, robust infrastructure including modern computer labs, digital libraries, smart classrooms, Multi-Gym separately for boys and girls and a minority girls’ hostel, we are well positioned to nurture talent and inspire excellence.

As we prepare for our next phase of growth and academic innovation, I assure you of the continued support and guidance of the Governing Body in fulfilling the mission of the college.
